Kr. Cynthia Horton, Executive Director
Khouria Cindy is the Executive Director at CSME and has plunged deeply into getting everything ready for the 2019 version of camp. In the early years, she was a counselor, led some activities and generally helped with CSME. Now, with her background as a teacher, scientist and manager, she is in charge of organizing the staff and schedule, as we move closer to camp time. In addition, she works diligently on maintaining adherance to the ACA Standards for accreditation with the American Camping Association. She attends and directs the choir at Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Fr. Gregory Horton, Clergy Assistant
Fr. Gregory helped organize Camp St. Mary of Egypt many years ago when camp was held at "Zephyr" in Liberty Lake, Washington with about 30 campers. Camp has grown significantly since that time and he has been actively involved some of those years and not involved at all during other years. Again this year, he is blessed to assist Khouria Cindy with the many responsibilities that she has as Executive Director. He is currently the pastor of Holy Myrrhbearers Antiochian Orthodox Church in Bonners Ferry, Idaho
Amy Bauck, Administrative Assistant
Amy joined the CSME team in 2018 as a media specialist and was promoted in 2019 to camp Administrative Assistant and official Camp Photographer. Her duties include managing and keeping track of all camper registration forms through CampDoc and information distribution throughout the year. She and her husband and their three children are faithful members of Holy Myrrhbearers Orthodox Church in Bonners Ferry, ID.
Joy Ann Wise, Staff Registrar
JoyAnn is a highly valued "behind the scenes" member of the CSME team as she coordinates and organizes all staff applications and registrations and runs our background checks. She attends St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Arlington, WA. Her favorite part of camp is keeping us organized and safe!
Dave Mathieson, Activities Director
Dave joined the CSME team in 2013 as Activities Director and he's kept us hopping ever since with his exciting games, enthusiastic spirit, and his emphasis on good sportsmanship. He attends St. Andrew Orthodox Church in Arlington, WA. His favorite part of camp is getting such a renewed sense of faith after spending one short week of fellowship with the youth, all of the clergy, and older peers. It is amazing to him to see some of these young children and how serious they are about their faith and he finds it highly encouraging. He is truly grateful to be able to serve CSME!
